What is osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a discipline that seeks to diagnose and treat the body on a structural level. One of the main principles is that health is dependent on the correct inter-relationship of structures within the body. While this includes consideration of the entire anatomy, much emphasis is placed upon the spine and its relationship with the pelvis and limbs.
Osteopathy is a registered profession, the training consists of a 4 year BOst. course which is preceded by a scientific background.
